The Nevada COVID-19 Response, Relief and Recovery Task Force  (“Task Force”) has created this privacy notice to explain how we may use information that you provide while visiting our website and/or visiting the pages or accounts on third-party websites/outlets. The Task Force may modify this policy from time to time.

In this policy, “Task Force” or “we” refers to Nevada COVID-19 Response Relief and Recovery Task force, its members, its staff, its volunteers and consultants.

The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website and for information that we receive from third-party websites. The type and amount of information received is dependent on how you use the sites.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

The Task Force collects two types of information on our website: (1) personal information you knowingly and voluntarily provide that is collected on an individual basis, and (2) website use information collected automatically, and on an aggregate basis, as you and others navigate through our website.

Personal Information You Provide to Us.  The Task Force uses web forms so you may provide your contact information to engage with the Task Force.  Any information we collect, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, type of request you are making, and any additional information you provide, is collected and stored by the Task Force. The information is used to fulfill your request and track aggregate information about usage of these features. The Task Force makes every effort to ensure the secure collection and transmission of your information.

The information we automatically collect is statistical data and does not identify any individual users. The Task Force uses the information to administer our website, track users’ movements around the website and gather information about our user base. The Task Force does not rent, sell or share any personal information about individual users with any third party except to provide the services or information you have requested. The Task Force may disclose your personal information to comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

OPTING OUT

People who subscribe to e-mail lists via the website will receive periodic updates from the Task Force. You may opt out of receiving future information via e-mail by using the unsubscribe procedure specified on the e-mail. We will honor such requests within 30 days.

This site contains hypertext links to other sites. The Task Force is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site, and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website.

The security of your personal information is important to us, but no method of transmission over the internet or methods of electronic storage is 100% secure.  While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
